Honda SS50 5 Speed

Well I finally found the version of SS50 I originally had when I was 16 in 1981

2 owner from new 1976 R reg

Still with tax disc from when last on road Aug 1990 and dry stored since then

Ripe for restoration and cant wait to make a start

I just wish as many NOS parts were available for an Escort as are available for the SS50

There wont be many updates for a while but will put plenty of pics once I get going

5th Eagle Moped rally (http://tonyc.createforumhosting.com/5th-eagle-moped-rally-t11115.html#p111043)

The date has been set for the 5th Annual moped rally. It will be over the weekend of the 15th / 16th September 2012.

Following positive feedback to this years event it will again coincide with "Freagle" live so there will be free live music on the Saturday night.

It will follow a similar format to previous years. Free camping, focus on a friendly laid back relaxing atmosphere with decent rideouts around the local country lanes to blow away the cobwebs and get some moped miles on the clock.

If you haven't been before why not mark it on the calendar now and commit to giving it a try.

It is located in Eagle, Lincolnshire "Gods chosen acre"

That looks a great project Steve.....

RS 2000 custom,i had an orange 4 speed ss50 back in the day.I put the top end off a c70 on it which made it go a little better but still wasn't as quick as my fs1e.Your project looks a great starting point.
