As some of you on here know, iam restoring a genuine late model GTE KADETT,it origionally came in yellow and white, but someone painted this one yellow, it will be mostly kept standard apart from the odd wee motorsport touch, the car was purchased in july this year, heres a few pics so far.http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o306/graceloc/IMG_1308.jpghttp://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o306/graceloc/IMG_1307.jpghttp://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o306/graceloc/IMG_1292.jpg

Hello Gerard
You are a man with great taste i must say
This looks really lovely!
I own a genuine 2.0 Kadett GT/E myself,a kind of special one.
Instead of yellow/white mine was originally all white,it is blue at the moment but i am planning a rebuild in a few years.
If you need any help with spares or specific parts, details etc send me a pm
Regards

This is a 3 piece wheel made of an original one.
They machine the wheel center out, dril 16 holes in them to fit BBS rim halfs.
There was a guy who made new wheel centers but i havent seen him for quite some time.
Note! Please do not buy the HTN fox design wheels! They don't look like the originals and they are poor quality.
Check out German ebay from time to time and if i see or find something i will let you know :thumbright:

thanks gerard
i would really like a set of these, are they 15" or 13?
They're 15" G..........
My Cousin in Hollland used to have a Kadett GTE (Black & Yellow) on the same wheels - unfortunately he sold it a few years ago
Wish I'd had the forsight to buy it - but to be fair I didn't have the money at the time.

@ Graceloc
That is indeed a 15", I made the picture myself in Germany this year. The car is also a stunner!
You can make them any size you like, just use other wheel halfs.
This is a 13" "flagbett'" this also gives a good look of how they are made.
If you have a good adres for cnc work you can make them yourself.

i dont understand g
if the origional fuchs wheels were 13" how can they fit them on to the 15"
DHautosport

Gerard
If you look at the picture of the wheel on the red car you can see that the wheel center is smaller then the outside of the wheel.
There is a step in the outer lip which widens it from a 13" to a 15"
So it go's from 13" in the center to a 15" on the outside of the rim.
That is an advantage of a 3 piece wheel, you can make them any size you like.
