About time for an update.I have not had much time to work on the car but got the glass tinted and fitted.I have fitted the top mounts and rad and started the electrics,hope to get more done in the next few weeks thanks for the comments.

managed to get some time to work on the car yesterday.most of the time was taken up with removing the pedal box from the old car and fitting it in the new one. also fittng the power steering unit from ricky at mk2 mania.the unit fits well and only needed a bracket making from the pedal box.also converting the pedal box to hydraulic clutch.i have made a new dash and fitted switches and dials.

That looks brilliant. I'm old enough to remember seeing the original with the great Roger Albert showering everybody with rocks. You used to feel blessed if you got clattered around the lugs with one.

time for an update.spent some time removing the suspention,brakes and axel from the old car.front struts and brakes are quite new and will only require a strip down and repaint.here are some pics of the removed parts.

Thanks again for the coments it dose help with motivation.Quick update on progress gear box cleaned checked and painted,engine cleaned new core plugs and painted,rocker powder coated and all other parts cleaned up.just waiting for dry sump parts and new pullys to finnish.
