I dont know how many of you saw KEL's link to the RSOC link
(http://www.rsownersclub.co.uk/rallyenews/TheXFiles.pdf). In the magazine article dated July/August 1998 you will will a photo (that I took years ago) of a GROUP 1 ENGINE KIT that I have. It is brand new, still in the boxes. Part number 9055203 (I think) comprising complete big valve head, race spec camshaft, twin down draught weber 44IDF's, new inlet manifold, gaskets; throttle cable, airbox and filter, dipstick assembly, etc.
I've still got the kit - it's been sitting in one of the kitchen cupboards for over 12 years!!
WHAT'S IT WORTH????
i would think its gotta be worth £2.5 k ish

I reckon it's worth about £150 on the open market. pm me and I'll make you a better private offer.
PS: what sort of kitchen furniture do you have - if it's MFI, those shelves are going to be sagging a bit having supported that cylinder head for 10 years!

I would hate to see the size of your kitchen with that lot in one cupboard

Yes it all looks the same. It's been stored in the kitchen which is warm and dry. Havent actually checked but should all be the same. In fact i'll check it all out over the weekend if i get a chance. Just hope I'm not tempted to have a "tommy-tank" over it when i see it again!!!
I'll buy the filter element & dipstick .... Dream on !!!

Frosticles appreciated that danger - that's why he wanted to get rid of his right hand before getting hold of the Group 1 kit.
