need help wit ha sport 1600 - specs

al righty.

i need to insure the escort soon but the insurance companies wont let me as i have too many mods. even if its my mums car and im a named driver. so here are the mods i need to 'reverse'

stock replacment engine... - i need to make that look like its been there since the word 'go'

4 spoker evo alloys - period for the time, but were they an optional extra that you could get with your new sport 1600? or is that a modification... ?!?!?!?!

carb on the engine... what please is the standard carb on the sport 1600. cos ive got a weber 45 on mine... with a k&N air filter... hmmms maybe i cant hide that one...

ALSO!

colour. i got the v5 for the car back last week and it said that it was RED on it. the cars orange . ive now filled in the dvla on the oclour change, told them that it is orange...and passed owner ship on to my mum... question is. do i have to delair to the insuance of the colour change if on the V5 it says orange now.... theres no signs of red paint... looks like a new orange shell.

any help WHATSOEVER is loverbly taken

Engine should still be the 1600 Kent engine with "711" on the block. RS Alloys were an option on the sport so you're ok with those. Carb should be a 32/36 Weber twin choke. which you can find on a 1600 Ghia. Paint shouldn't be a problem I think. Hope this helps. Kev.
