Guys
Want to know you worldly opinion on replacing my 13x7 inch 4 spokes with 15x7 superlites.......... i quite fancy them but my misses prefers the old skool look, what do you think?
On the technical side do you see any problems with just bolting them straight on, running minus 1 inch all round with standard dia front springs and ap 4 pot calipers and standard rs hubs, rear currently drums but very close to swapping to rear disc conversion.
any comments welcome

I prefer the old skool look, but its up to you, It's not as if you're needing extra space for big brakes etc is it

I am thinking og doing the same, the range of tyres is far greater than for 13", would appreciate some pics if you do go for it.

The Works Mk2 ran 15's, sometimes 13's on one side a 15's on the other, but that was a service mistake.
I prefer 13 x 7 RS 4 spokes but superlites do look good.

i think 13" minilites look a bit wrong, and 15" is ther only way to go for them. imo of course :geek:

I think 15"s look good but prefer the look of the compomotive ml's
Stick with 13"s as 15"s don't look right, IMO

wow, never expected such a good responce....ta very much.
Deepest i will take your offer up of the pics from ligh****er if its no great hassel.
Only down side would be i need to sell the 4 spokes to fund any 15s so if i dont like them i would be scuppered.....thanks for all your comments i will have a long think about it.
My old RS with 15in superlites not the best pic

They look good Paul. Still prefer the 13's though.
i prefer 13's with a deeper rim, the 15's rim looks to shallow to me

looks like the 15s will have to be put on hold.....misses just been to dentist and come back with gleaming teeth but cost £145!!!!!!!!! and my audi failed its mot yesterday on 2 front tyres so thats cost me £190!!!......
feel like money bleeding from every oriface at the mo..... not a happy camper :pain10:
There was a nice looking red rs2000 parked next to wiggys car at the cumbria show that was on 15 inch capri 7 spokes and that looked really good

that was my mates, ....... think Andy said the wheels are actually off a serria as cant get a spare anywhere, brooklands capri 15s are a deeper offset than those and dont fit very well as hes tried it a few years ago.
look the dogs nuts will put pic up asap.
Keep the 13's and ask the wife to smile some more, so you can get value from her now gleaming teeth :agimp:
