As above. Found the problem of the misfire to be a broken woodruft key in the crank which had allowed the pulley to slip (Could have been disasterous) Put it all back together and took for a run...........SO MUCH BETTER. :cheers: As I was motoring around the alternator fell off due to the support bracket bolt that goes into the water pump deciding it was time to leave the noise.
All that needs doing now is to re-fit the Filters, Fit the rear seat belts, Wire the radio and it's finally done :cheers:

Thanks lads for the kind replies (Apart from Brian's NOB comment) have left it in tha garage now for a couple of days but will be finishing her off over the weekend hopefully. Greg, Will give you a call mate ok.
bring her over to suny grantham mate, we'll have a beer and drool over the old girl,,sure mr stewart would love to see her.
