Hi,

people were showing interest in my recent pics i put up of the press car i own.

It is currently at Retromotorsport in Harlow (Essex) to get all the bits done that bring it back to its former glory and make it usable after todays standards.

Gary had to remanufacture a lot of parts, some due to rust and some due to this being "only" the press car.

I am very very fond of his work, all the pics are BEFORE any grinder cleanup whatsoever, i find them to be the most honest for a knowledgable crowd.

The 4 link specification is never Zakspeed I know. The Zakspeed 4 link spec is completely different from the UK rally spec.

yes, they are very different.

the boxes are much taller because the race cars were lower than the rally cars. also the rear turrets are different as you can see on the pictures.

by the way none of the zakspeeds were the same, mine is made to the same specification as what gary in new zealand has on his car.

if you look at the spaceframe car then again that was entirely different from the "escort steel shell" cars.

best you get a copy of my book next year as all those details will be in there. :D
