During The Welsh Tour 2010 I shot the bearings in my axle
Well finally today I managed to get to Fast Track Bearings for a "rebuild" kit to sort it out.
I have already stripped inspected and rebuilt the LSD unit and set up the pre-load and ramp angles then lock-wired the lot together

What side gears you running then ? 22 spline (standard) or 16 /17 spline uprated jobs . :)

You cant go wrong with a bit of extra length :D

Bog standard shafts and end gears
Have only managed to twist a couple of shafts
Am not into the 0 - 60 or goin down the pod so luckily I have managed to survive with an English
I am eventually going to build an Atlas for it
Mine lasted with standard shafts with no twisting at all (no grip and loads of wheelspin helps , lol) but i uprated them to 16 spline atlas ones just incase and it's been fine . Not keen on Atlas axles , too fooooooookin heavy and expensive , same as driving around with a bag of cement in the boot !!!

like the old skool pre load tool, as per manual:D:cool:
The techie guy at Tran-X when I asked his advise on amount of pre-load required said "you will never do it correctly without the right tool" he was impressed when I said I had a pre-load gauge and he wanted the details of the seller because they needed a new one and they cant get anymore - lol
dave, for wiring locking to be effective it is best to come from the 9 or 12 o'clock position of the 1st bolt to either the 6 or 3 oclock position of the next one, thus pulling both bolts into a tightening position so there cant come undone.
dont mean to pish on ya work m8 but i had many of my wirelocking cut by my trainer and told to do it properly many years ago :o
might need your services soon to do a pinion seal:D

Straight forward diff rebuild will be £60 + parts
LSD rebuild (if fitted) will be £30 + parts
Lock wiring is extra and will be carried out next time by Mr Quality Control himself Bish Bosh - lol lol
