this car has sat in stored for 20 years but is in a bad way but nothing that cant be fixed if u put ur mine to it .this is another oldford saved.....
working on this car most days till next year but will be along term project.
doing this for a good freind ............................

i know where there is a m reg one been sat in a garage since 1978 got a lotus twin cam engine in it with loads af body panels and original engine was shown it earlier this year he wouldnt sell it but has since died i pass it 6 times a day but darent approach his mrs been trying to catch his son to ask the question but he works away :confused::confused:

am sure one day u may get this car sometimes thing come to u when u dont it ......
but if u canny wait a would go see the women and be nice and careing am sure she come round .a did that to a old lady and she sold me a nice 2 door mk2 a had for ten years...........
better to get the car before it gets scapped m8....

I know a guy who didn't approach his friends widow to buy his vintage bikes. She phoned a scrap yard who came and took the lot. They made a killing on it, and the guy I know was sick as a parrot.

wee now have a inner sill floor edge .

this car has to be strong before it goes on a spit but long wae of that the now.
most section will be double seemed weld and joints be filled and try make it the wae it was when it was new due to owners request .
this is a long term project .

fitted a floor section out a donner car a have for parts to repare this resto .as wee all no its hard to get panel parts for these cars unless u buy from express steel panels .but prices are high tho.

this what has been done in last few days .
inner sill new.here s seat belt bracket that came with the sill have to do a slight mod so mk1 capri seat belt can fit in the right place.
as this sill is for mk2,mk3 capri and seat belt mout is in a different place but inner sill is the same..
