View Full Version : A bit of touching up
Just got my car back from my good friend in Swanley after a bit of paintwork to get her ready for the show season. I'll try and get the stripes on straight this time !!!!
Anyone in the Kent/Essex/Surrey area that wants a good paint job done, give me a shout and I'll put you in touch with him.

It's that nacky seat you lent me Richard, it's too wide to shut the door properly.....hence I left it open.

So u dont want to swap them for your seats when u get them back mate
that looks a nice job mate, how much did you have done?

I'll give that some serious consideration

Bonnet, both sides
Both doors from swage line downwards including fixing some rust bubbles
Both rear 1/4's from swage line downwards as I had some stonechips
Repainted edge of heater dome panel (where it joins grille below windscreen) to get rid of a masking line
Painted fuel tank in satin black
Fitted trims to C-posts that cover the vinyl roof
Although he has painted parts of panels, the colour match is perfect (more difficult than you would think with white) under flourescent/natural lighting and you can't see where the new paint ends on the swage line. Top job, can recommend him.
All that for £320 - a bargain I think.

All depends upon Aldridge Paul, hopefully the material will be in stock next week and then it's just a case of a few finishing touches.
I'll be off to the first show in the Midlands are I expect (not sure what that is - do you know ?)
