Posted on behalf of my friend Geoff Fletcher, here are some pictures of his mint original black Mexico (one of only a handful made I believe) which he is currently restoring. Technical spec is long and complicated but I think you'll agree he is making a mint job of it .......

Hey i thought dave custom had the trademark on the "ping" effect paintwork...lol

Looks very nice so far tell him to keep up the good work

I don't think so Paul, he's not gone to any of the shows in the car before he got going on rebuilding it.

He is certainly coming to MKII National day, I think if he gets it finished in time he'll go to the earlier shows (Ford fair ???)

How about a get together at the Bromley Pageant Kel, if Phil hasn't organised a club stand I believe that the parking is organised by make/model so if we all drive up there en-masse we should all end up parked together.

The would be great, I have spoken to Mark about the proposed Kent Stand about a possiable 4 rs2000's.

just worked out that I would be the black sheep of the four cars, need backup from Geoffs car.

You meen the RSOC Kent group stand at Bromley ? What's the date of the Bromley show btw - I'd be willing to put LAR on the stand if he'll have her !

Yep the kent RSOC regional group. Why do we need Phil to sort it, cant we do it. I have requsted a form and info pack about setting up a Mk2 stand.

I'd certainly be up for contributing part of the cost Kel but, to make the stand look 'professional' (if you'll pardon the pun) we really need some of the club regalia etc.

When I last spoke to Phil, he said that he had been in contact with them but I've heard nothing more since - I'll drop him a PM and see if anything is happening.
