Hey guys, do any of you know where I can get classic agreed valuation insurance without having to keep the car in garage 365 days a year? Tried AON and the usual suspects but they all say that even if I don't put the car in the garage once during the whole year when it's home I won't be covered for that time! Surely there's alway atleast a few times in the year when you can't put the car away at night?

Any help would be greatly apreciated
Thanks,
Darren.

i'm with Aon and i am sure that the car only has to be in the garage at my home address overnight, if i am away, to a show for example, they agree that i obviously can't garage her, ring them again mate, they are cheap

Anndon you're right with that mate that what they said; but they also said it has got be garaged with no exceptions at home address ie if I didn't garage it overnight at home, even just the once, it's not covered. I've only a small garage and if I'm fixing my other car or whatever and RS has a night on the drive it's not insured. Bumer!!!

Thanks though mate,
Darren

Lee Ive rang them today. Was on phone trying to persuade them for ages but no luck. I was hoping that some of you guys might've had same problem! But there's probably only me stupid enough to even consider not garaging it every now and again!!!

Same problem here, I have free use of a barn at a local farm however I could get turfed out for a couple of weeks if they're busy. So I insure the RS as un-garaged just incase it has to spend a night on my driveway. Only company that will cover me with an agreed valuation is Footman James.

Moving house soon and can't bloody wait :flower:

If you do find yourself in the situation that you need to park the RS on the drive because the garage is taken up , just take the RS around to a friends or relatives for the night then if anything does happen to it at least it wasnt at your address

Hey Steve don't forget to see about not being in garage and make sure you get an agree valuation. If you don't some scum bag will twoc it and they'll look in the glass's guide and give you 45p!!! You know what I mean!!!??

Hey, big thanks for advice with insurance companies, especially Judge_Fudge for mentioning Footman James. You were certainly right they were the only ones who offered cover for being ungaraged at home. Was still £260 fully comp mind you, but that was with agreed value, all mods declared and 6 points!!!

Thanks again guys
