of us working on our cars all day and some nights
mine is as good as gold....bless her......
i bet there are some out there that give you some stick...lol
and when you tell them you have got 15 shows this year all
in the summer and there are no days left for you to take them to the seaside
what do they say then......pmsl

My wife has an email address of rswidow.com, says it all
Julie tries to help out and its usally a fight to who drives the RS.
Usally works out I drive there (where ever there is) & she drives back.

My bird.......
.......as well as a full-time day job she works 2 nights per week at the local pub......which helps fund my hobby.
She brings me out coffee as well.

my missus is good as gold too! the old eyes go a bit glazed when i talk about the car, like she's about to nod off......... doesnt stop her taking it out with her sister and getting blokes chatting them up, like they think its hers!!!

Mine helped me fit the crossmember and front legs and she is wonderfull :cheers:
Mine is very good with how much time i spend around cars and car related things , even though she has no interest whatsoever in cars she never really moans at how much time i spend in the garage or going to shows etc as long as she gets to do her things as well.

At least it saves me a job , and gives her time to do the housework and make my tea after a hard day at the garage

Mines usually very good about it all. Have twice as many shows to go to as I show my Golf as well. She's not too chuffed at the moment though as I keep on pestering her to let me into the garage as i have not a lot of time b4 Cumbria. (She'll be in OZ then so I can play as much as I like :cheers:

btw:- garage has Sky TV and a fridge full of Dry white wine and beer so I spend most nights there - pity I never actualy get any work done on me engine or car - lol lol lol

hi there,
my missus is a top bird,lets me have two nice mk11 RSs,and a nice new 3 series BMW TOURER to ferry the kids about in,shes been to many rs regional days,has driven and cleaned my RSs when i used to concourse in 1995/6 and has also been in one of my previous RSs at national day track event 1998 which the RSOC national day video was filmed from our car,never moans at all so im keeping hold of this one shes a good un.

Mine never helps with the car, however she has been a huge help at the RSOC national day for over twenty years, used to do all the catering for the VIP guests and helpers and would spend weeks sorting all the letters out for the traders, track, concours etc. These days she is still at National day, flogging the raffle tickets and generally helping out. When my little un was born, (four weeks before national day 1990) the wife was still able to make it to nat Day, with the little un !. Now the little un is a bigger un (fourteen) she has not missed a single national day either and can be found either selling raffle tickets or helping out somewhere.
And they both dont even like cars....................
Both will be there again this year.

No problem with the girlfriend....Don't have one, well not now anyway.
She got the arse with me coz I wouldnt let her help me on the mk2.
I know it sounds harsh but when it comes to "hands on" stuff with cars, she is as useful as a chocolate teapot! :cheers:

mine is getting involved now she is coming to cumbria with me and the 4 kids are coming.....lol
we are leaving at 11.00pm saterday and will get there at 8.00 am sunday then we will stay till 6.00pm and then drive home the 354m we will get home at about 2.00am monday i hope she can stay awake....lol
