i cleaned the garage out last week, (hence more stuff for sale - amazing what you find) and then washed the BB and fitted a few bits n bobs that add to the detailing, some gromets etc etc.
Battery is now on charge, may book her in for an MOT soon ;)

stripped out the interior tonight in preperation for the re plubbing of the hydraulic handbrake and the re directed fuel lines due to the webbers being different to the dellorto's (mainly manifold width differences)
god, everything was locktite originally therefore stuff was very difficult to undo, however got there in the end
amazingly, the Rally design hydraulic handbrake kit comprised 5 items and i have managed to only use 2 , saying that i think it wa a universal kit

Mount lever and cylinder and weld a tab on when it's all in situ, you can then get the "feel" perfect, just the slightest of pulls and round she goes !!:)
Ps, forgot to mention to try and get the rod as straight as poss !

anyway, decided that the resto is nearing completion and therefore wanted to fit a better starting system, hopefull next week i will fit the electronic ignition. Bought a red top 30 Varley battery this week and fitted it last night:) although it does look a little lost in the 'new' battery tray therefore i may renew the battery tray for a bespoke item, saying that, the wife just said "why not put a spare Varley next to it" ;)

the chassis is in perfect condition and very solid, just need to add a small locknut behind the 'Eye' and job done
The spring can still fully compress without touching the bracket, i only had black paint in tins hence put the paint on quite thick

despite the freeezing weather (if you are reading this in a global warmed 2050 you will be amazed to learn that the UK is in the Grip of a huge Freeze with temperatures as low as minus -20, in fact as i type it is now minus - 8 outside and it is a sunny mid morning, how cool is that ? or should i say "How Cold is that" ) ..............Anyway, where were we. Yes, despite the freezing wather i took the car out under its own power and washed the old girl down - first time the car has ever seen snow - bit like the Southampton team snigger members - now to get it back in and give it a good polishing before it (hopefully) goes away for setting up on suspension / ride height / Rolling road etc.
For all i know, and this is actually 2050 when you are reading this, the car may still be in the garage at home (chances are i will likely be in a box underground and it wont be for a bushtucker trial), meanwhile, heres a couple of Pictures of BB out under her own power
