ive not got a mk2 yet guys, but when you have stripped down your restos at home, what did you do about transporting the shell to the bodyshop etc etc................?

Hired a trailer and got help from someone with a tow bar :)

I left it rolling to get to the body shop but will be a bare shell when it comes back so need to fine 4 or 5 people to help me unload ;)

i sent mine on its wheels and then took them of at the bodyshop then put it on a roll over jig got all the work done and the car in paint then i used there 2 post ramp to put the engine a nd box in and put it back on the wheels then got it home on my new £2k trailer......lol
