Had my quote from Footman and Jame through the post today.
Fully Comp for a 1.6 Mex with no mods.
£3019 !!!!! :bootyshake: to that
however i do think they have screwed up as i on the form they have got unlimited milage and it meantions no where about it been classic car insurance (which i asked for)
was expectecting something in the region of £1500
im looking forward to being 21 and having 1 years NCD :cheers:

God mate thats a bit over the top, us old gits are only paying about £130 fully comp with AON on a classic insurance,mine has all mods declared and I have unlimited mileage and agreed value. Give AON a shout I got the info from this site

but have you got another car as your daily driver which is in your name, insurance wise ? if this is you only car then they will charge accordingly,
otherwise all the boy racers would be fast classic cars and use them and insure a group 1 car as their daily driver

Yep your right Banishit I have got an everyday car but during the summer months my RS is used as my daily runner. The only restriction I have is that if the car is at my house over night it has to be in the garage between certain hours.

i cant wait for the day i can afford to insure a mex for £1500, im paying 1k on my lowly 13 ghia :cherry:.

i rang aon insurance for a quote yesterday and they said they could,nt cover me due to mod,s :tup:

Bob I'm surprised at that they did mine with 2.1 stage 1, lowered, caged, etc. with no problem.

I have just received my renewal from AON, declared as a full group 4 car with all mods, agreed value (a lot of)
Total £145.60 + £7.28 IPT
