At 5:30 this evening I at last got the bloody thing to start with remote help Via Mr RS_Martyn Cheers me ole mate, diagnosing the problem by phone LOL
heres a pic to prove the engine running and my little lad wanted to be in it too, found a problem the car is so low at the mo, until I jack up the coil overs the exhaust catches on the end of the drive, the brakes are too spongy too more bleeding needed
taking out into the light by god does it need a good cleaning LOL look at the dash :geek:

Why it would not start was as you said in part Kev the inlet needle jet was stuck open so fuel was ****ing in, so took it apart and cleaned it out with the airline , then I had our estimed technical advisor on the phone listening to the crap tractor like noises it was making , Martyn told me to turn the dizzy 1/4 inch turns until it ran which it did after and inch or so but it still needs the timing done right and the exhaustt manifold is leaking at the head, bit unusual but will get it sorted.
I have raised the front suspension an inch but now it looks a little highish dont know we shall see once it has been driven a bit

what about the fat git driving it LOL
few more things to sort out now, always something, the bonnet release cable keeps sticking then the bonnet wont close until you pull the cable back, for some reason the exhaust manifold is blowing passed the gaskets on 2 and 4, so trying to get that sorted, theres a not nice vibration at about 55-60 mph very annoying, other than that did 30 miles today great fun, timing still out a bit
time 2 go and enjoy ur work mate
bRIAN, WHEN DO U FIND TIME TO GO TO WORK MATE???
