Hole Update.....

Thought I'd give you all an update on the nice hole outside my house. You may recall that two weeks after moving into my nice new shiney house, this happenned :

The water board admitted it was down to them, and sent some nice men round with some spades to have a bit of a dig. They then sent for some more men with bigger spades, and, well, this is what happenned :

All in all a bit of a nightmare. The road is now closed until they finish, and they've no idea when that will be. Still, the good news is that the car was ok, and sailed through it's MOT last week.

Nightmare ,looking at the size of that hole I think I would be getting a structral survey of the house done ,make sure theres no subsidence.
