I know lots of you have these tech phones and I have been thinking of getting one but been a tight git have put this off.
I've always been with O2 on pay-as-you-go but do want to go pay monthly.
What tariffs/deals are people on, looked at the O2 tariffs yesterday and all now give unlimted text and UK data, Wi-Fi and Visual Voicemail but the most basic 24 month contract is £25 but I would still have to buy a iphone on top (3G 8GB = £149 up to 3GS 32GB = £299).
I want to keep my number but open to what company offers the best deal so any advide on what people pay would be most welcome.

Yep I was the same as you keiron, I only ever had phones just to do calls and texts up until I finally buckled when I saw just how useful these damn things are (I'm using mine to do this..... Lol ) I was paying £20 a month pay as you go with virgin
and now on O2 I'm paying £35 a month for 600 minutes unlimited texts and unlimited Internet and it's got all the other apps to help you out on a daily basis as well as dumb stuff. Well worth the £15 extra all day long. Don't worry about the additional costs you Ned this phone it will make your life easier, sounds like an odd thing to say but it will. Also factor in fifteen quid a month for insurance if your house phone won't cover it
get one bought son
Agree, I am on same contract as Eddie and Lee, they are a very very useful piece of kit .
Cheers, son
best £35 a month you can spend , you just cant put the things down:D
got mine from carphone warehouse who gave me £106 for my 2 year old n95 8gb which would have been thrown in drawer and forgot about , so i didnt really have to pay anything towards the iphone

Hi all what is the best price for insurance please for i phone:)
Buy a 3g phone only £200, then you need a £20 a month 30 day "simplicity with iphone" tarriff with o2, 600 mins, 1200 txts.
its a contract but you only need 30 days notice to cancel.
I have had both a 3gs and a 3g and tbh there is not a lot in it. 8gb 3G is fine for most people.
I got one after faffing about for 12 months trying to dodge paying £35 a month......thinking I could not justify it.
But, as I was paying £15 a month on pay and go, and being too afraid to make calls as it used up minutes I decided to go for an iphone to keep up with the Bishops's.
I tell you what, it works out to be a bout a quid a day, and is worth every penny. It's a life- changing phone, and I mean that. Love it.:3some:
im on 3 and i pay £24 per month 1100 mins unlimited text and internet and the phones a e63
