why hasnt anybody done a proper resto manual for an escort mk2 RS or other ,surely if one done an indepth book it would sell :confused: as the haynes manual is well pretty vague and crap

thats what i mean someone with first hand /hands on experience of thr car ,who know the little things and of course larger items that some or all escort owners have problems with during a resto ,would deffo buy this keep going at it

I'd like to do the same for the Mk1's. But to do it properly each model would need a book of there own.

A restoration book could be done on panel replacement, bodywork, welding etc etc... but there are books & websites that cover these already.

The book I mentioned at the top of the post is pretty good, it covers replacing panels floors etc on escorts.
Quite a bit of stuff you will not find in a Haynes manual.
