Please can all on here ensure that any pipework being used for fuel transfer from tank to pump and carbs etc

IS FUEL RESISTANT !

I would hate to hear of anyone fitting the incorrect spec hosing to their car

Imagine all the gunk and particles that will be in the pump and carbs etc as even a filter will not remove tiny liquid plastic particles as the braided hose degenerates

The non-starting was also down to being sold the wrong kind of braided hose for the fuel lines :mad: Once petrol had run through mine, it melted the inside and weakened it causing it all to expand and sag. This resulted in all the petrol in the pipes, filter king and carbs looking like treacle. Had to strip down and clean the complete fuel system including carbs and flush with cleaner. Wasn't impressed
