Hoping to put my car on the road within the next few weeks, can you recommend insurance companies/brokers,do they normally insist on alarms/ imobilisers, my car has neither, thanks.

ive have both my cars insured all year round spot on no problems with,

AON INSURANCE GROUP.

TEL NO, 01384 455011.

BOTH WITH AGREED VALUATIONS FROM THE RSOC

give them a try the chicks sound ok aswell which is always a bonus.

i was going to go with AON, but they buggered me about when i phoned to take policy out, price went up by £80!!! so i went back to ADRIAN FLUX who matched the origional quote of £132, comp, agreed value with 3000 mile limit

Using it on the road, Agreed value of 7k unlimited mileage declaring 2 litre and twin 45's. Garaged and in a good area :cheers:

yep aon seems to be good £158 fully comp unlimeted mileage

i'm wiv aon, paid £106 last year, unlimited miles no agreed value tho!!! due again in may so will probably stick wiv em.

watch it guys, they quoted me unlimited miles, when i called back they had changed their minds to 1500 miles, so when i asked to up it to 3000 miles, thats where the extra £80 came in, so i told them to poke it, cheatin' scum.................

I got a quote from AON of £135 fully comp,agreed value of £6500,no mileage limit,suspension mods & wheels decleared,a excess of £100,
I'll be taking it out any time now.

over the phone we agreed on a mileage but on my policy it has no limited milaege. but they were the cheapest by a bit.

hi there

aon by far, they give you automatic unlimited mileage on classic policies because your car being mk2 escort is or should be over 20years old,my agreed values are very high on my two cars both locked away when not in use etc i pay £ 140 per year on the same policy.

Phil Teear can give a written (expect spelling mistakes though) valuation for MKII Club members that is accepted by AON and maybe other insurance companies

Agreed milage of 1000 thats is none policeable anyway by any insurance company LOL....

You do 200miles on the track that doesn't come off ya policy and have do they know what none public miles you do....

Having said that i have only done 2000miles in last 18 months LOL
