Segals had some real stuff, but with selve edge damage. I bought some replica stuff off them. The cloth is ok, but the service was too expensive.

(They had someone with dyslexia write the address which my postman then couldn't find. The package got returned to sender and Segals said that they would re-send it and I didn't need to worry about the additional charge. Ha, ha - another £40 got deducted from my credit card even after I protested.)

I may have some Genuine Black Beta for sale mid April Time
when I get my seats back from the Trimmers and see how
much I have left.
There should be enough left to do another set as I had my
roll out this morning and I reckon I've got about 7 metres
(I only thought I had 6 metres).

Aldridge trimming in Wolverhampton is the company that is getting the repro stuff, they are having brown, black and I think grey (?) done.

My seats are already up there waiting to be trimmed in repro brown which is the only option for me. I bought 4m of black repro beta from Seagals last year (which was originally made for Aldridge by the same people that are doing the run now) and I had samples of the orignal cloth and the repro sent to me before I bought it. To be honest, the repro was no different from the original apart from the backing foam being thicker and the black being a bit 'blacker' than the original (maybe this was because the original has been sat around for 20 odd years ?

I got a sample of the repro beta as well.
The repro beta is very good but the weave is all the same height
unlike the original stuff which is two different heights
