I have been with tiscali now for around 7 yrs and they have been taken over by talk talk, i called them today to see if i could get a new modem as the one i have is out dated and their answer was we dont give such items away we suggest you go to the computer shop and buy a new one. I dont want to change as its a mess about with the email address but i have also been told that i will have to change soon any way so i am looking for a better provider, i pay £20 per month for all call any time free so which is it please:confused:

I started with Carphone Warehouse,they were taken over by TalkTalk,AND they gave me a modem too.I have since bought a DLink modem,but it went t*ts up.I rung D Link in India,but because it was only 18months old they were going to replace it,BUT i had lost the reciept.SO went on ebay and bid £8 for a brand new D Link ,plus £5 postage,and using it now!

am with tiscali to m8 and wanted a router to connect the ps3 to internet called them up and there was no problem told me it would take 10 working days and guess what it was here in 5 days :D only did this about a month ago as long as you had been with them more than 6 months they said there was no trouble with an upgrade :cool:

I'm BT and get the latest modem every 12 months once a new contract is renogiated. I have the old one kicking about. If I can find it, its yours as I normally through them in the skip. It has all the cables with it and its wireless.

My bt deal is 11.99 p/m unlimited downloads, no site restictions, and wireless running a small network at home and the garage perfectly. They do mail forwarding so that way you can redirect your existing e-mails to the new bt e-mail address they give you, and that service is free.

Problem Solved?:)

Same were aswell, although i've been told a modem change with sky is a no no :confused: but I can't fault them

Be unlimited here, if your in an llu exchange, much faster, and it really is unlimited, download as much as you like
