Where is the image from? (not the web site quoted or the one printed on the image??). It appears to be the correct registration of the Jeff Churchill hire car used by Robert Droogmans/Ronnie Van Oosten in the 1982 and 1983 Belgian Open Championship.

KL yes it is the droogmans car ,i got the picture from a guy called andy who runs www.rallymodels.co.uk he has produced 50 Trofeu code 3 models of the car and many other mk2`s (30 of which went to the owner in belgium, now sold out)
code 3 models for those who dont know are standard Trofeu models in road or rally guise re-decalled to produce cars not released by Trofeu ,if you take a look at the site above you will see what i mean. They cost more due to the work invoved.
I have been collecting these for some time and there are just as many code 3 cars as standard ones.
I also have a green mex and black rs2000 that were the display models produced by Trofeu to show to the trade a couple of years ago .

I was just interested to know where it was taken. I competed on several of the same events and can't recognise that location.
He could have been the last rwd Escort driver to win a full International Rally - if he hadn't crashed his RS2 practice car the night before a very wet Tour of Flanders and broken his ankle...

KL that picture was only taken last week at a private testing venue ,i assume in belgium somewhere .The car belongs to Chris Jacob you could try emailing him.
