Orange have just released me from their 18 month contract due to poor signal etc. The only network that seems to work where I live is Vodafone. The I Phone is released on Jan 16th. Is it wise to get one of these or should I go with another phone???

last 2 nokia's i've had were rubbish. Kept crashing etc. Been using Samsung's for the past 2 contracts but hate my current one. (Pixon M8800)

Ive got 3gs on o2
only complaint was initially I had to downloaad stuff to do basic thing like forward a text ,battery not the best but then I'm on here all the time and playing games ,don't buy a red cover cos they go salmon pink and people say it looks gay

LOL, Will keep the cover in mind if I get one.
Oh just been told mine is a 3g yours will have video other than that I dunno

On mine at the moment down the stables writing this in the car while the other half is round mucking the 'orse out :)
Brilliant things, get one I was unsure at first as I always had ericcsons but chuffed I made the change now, wouldn't be without it:cool:

using a new one here myself, brillant piece of kit.........by the way , it's also a phone lol.
Go for it Kev, I got the 3G on 02 before xmas, seems good no problems here, and I even jailbroke it last night so I can put "unofficial" apps on it..
Like Bill said the battery is not the best, but great for emails, surfin, eBay facebook etc :D

I have a 3GS 16gb and it is very good. Although it does take some getting used to over a normal phone. I went to 02 because where i live the orange signal is on the bad side of crap! The only thing I'll say about the iphone is you will never get anything done because you're always messing with it! :D Camera is ok but has no flash and the video is ok but again is no good anywhere that has even a hint of the dark! Really it's just a tiny computer with a phone on it.

Really, I sent mine back today, no signal at work, no point having one if I cant get a signal at work.
May look at a o2 one if I can get same deal.

Can't do Orange, Mate came over last night with one on O2, No signal so can't do O2, Vodafone it is then :rolleyes:
