Every time I try and start Microsoft Outlook i get the message "Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window" This is really bad news as I have some important emails on there :(:(:(:(:(:(:(:(
If anyone can help I will be greatly appreciative :):):)
TOO MUCH FILTH downloaded and corrupting your hard drive son
Might be an outlook add in causing it. Click start and run and type the below in if you've outlook 2007:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /safe
or if you've outlook 2003
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office11\Outlook.exe" /safe
It'll start it in safe mode which should allow you to disable the add in thats causing the problem

you can reinstall Outlook and it will keep its original settings but before doing this Make a backup on system restore and then try, if it fails run the backup
or go back on the already ran system restore and do that
can you not log in on a web browser to your email account online as they usually keep the emails for longer ???
or read this http://support.microsoft.com/kb/252304
