I was looking at a MK2 at the weekend. The car was awful, holes everywhere but good enough for a project. Under the bonnet there was a turbo'd cossie lump. Thing is the shell in realistic terms is worth £300 but the guy wants £1500. I don't know what condition the engine is in and i don't think the car has moved for 3 years! Does anyone need a cossie engine?

cossie engine complete seem to sell for a £1000, but obviously if its been worked and in good order could be more if its shagged needing a rebuild less?

I would like one in a mk2 :geek:

the car sounds cheap cos of all the parts that are there
do you know what gearbox is in it..?

what about the rest of the parts
is there loads of MODS to the car .? eg

diff struts rack shocks....

if it has the mods then the car is cheap but the engine must be tested for that price.....cheeRS

I'll have to look at the engine. Might be able to make a bit of dough out of it! It'd be nice to run a cossie engine but it'd bankrupt me on a re-build!

If engine aint moved in 3 years then all gaskets will be ****ed, headone included.

1000 for rough one

2k for a minter

4-6k for a modded one.
