Been in rural Cheshire today

HRCR (Historic Rally Car Register) Training day

I know what a Romer is and how to use it !

I learnt loads on Navigation skills and managed to get the FORD TRANSIT CONNECT !!! rally van around an intricate course with Mex-It driving

Loads of turns and country roads a plenty !

lol - Mex-It had to keep an average speed of 24mph and 26mph over set timed distances on parts of course

No wonder we gained 2 minutes on last stage !! Average speed 48mph - lol lol lol should have been 24mph :geek: :geek: :geek:

Dave,

Glad you have sorted out what a romer is ... now get yourself a potti and and a bag to throw up in and you will be ready for the Welsh lanes at 2AM.

Now remember this phrase .... "not as map" this is the standard navigator excuse when the road goes 90 left when you just told the driver it was 45 right.

Enjoy.... and let us all know when and where your first event is ... you could have a travelling fan club, and there seems to be a lot of folks on here at silly hours in the morning so we would be used to it !!

I miss night events.
