im after one of them car rotatey thingys ( :compress: ) that hold your car while its being sprayed, like the one that rs2000&mexico has. where can i get one from, and how much are they? i seen one for a mk1 golf recently go for a shade under £300, can they be picked up for this sorta price? and can they be built for less maybe? as my old mans very handy with the welder, and i cant move for angle iron and box section in my 'yard

I got mine from the guy who advertises in the back of Classis Ford ... in the classified section, parts for sale. £210 delivered, and he's a nice guy too.

Very easy to make if you are handy with a welder that what i done go the steel for free,well worth the time spent.

ye, they seemed pretty easy to make, but wasnt sure if theres any trickery in them. wheres the best place to bolt it to the car? i notices on2k+mex's one it was to attach to the bumper mounting bolts, this the best place?

I had mine made to my own design, a lot heavier and stronger than the items on Ebay by a local steel fabricators for £180.00.Obviously transport costs would be a factor.I can try and post some pics if you want.
