squint hard and you can make out what it would have looked like :cyclops:. now as you can see its no longer on the engine (didnt agree with the copious amounts of gunk that got threw on it) no ive just had the rocker cover cleaned up and had all the brackets removed from it, and wanted to put this sticker back on. where can i get one from?

is that a genuine '18 in your sig btw?
Now that reminds me of the British Grand prix weekend ... not much fishing, but lots of Bacon butties and loads of Beer.
Now thats a weekend !!
Latham,
Yep, thats a genuine RS18 in my sig, but not mine. That pic was lifted from the Top Gear website after thay did the RS feature.
I just hope that mine will look like that "one day"

just wondered how many '18's are left these days?
We have kind of got off your orgin thred here. Still, are you sure you need to advertise that your engine was an exchange unit from Ford?
Just asking?
Dave Robinson would be the best man to answer your question on remaining RS1800's. I think he knows of about 28 orginal road cars.
I am sure he will correct me.

it was an exchange engine, and its only done approx 15k since rebuild, but when i got it i give it a good going over iwith gunk+diesel etc, and it didnt last too long. but yes im still after thoriginal sticker that came on her, as im in the process of getting the rocker cover looking tidy (the one off the old engine) and i think itd look nice sat on a brand new rocker, in a nice and clean engine bay!!
Two ideas,
1. ask your local Ford Dealer, they must still do exchange engines. or
2. PM Mr Hoarder on this site as he has had a lot of stickers re-manufactured in the past.
May get a result ... may not.

Going off the subject, I do have 91 road car chassis numbers, of which about 30 cars could be driven today, the rest are either being restored or missing etc.
