View Full Version : RS put me in hospital
Well no long term stay but after fitting the new chassis leg on Saturday I was aware of a stinging sensation in my eye. Sunday it was worse and a look in the mirror that evening confirmed that there was something in there.A trip to A&E was called for , how horrible is it having someone scrape your eyeball with a needle !!
The worst bit though was yet to come, as for the next three days I am a 'Managing safety' course at work and I'm the one sitting with the eye patch on.
And before you ask , yes I was wearing my goggles.......
cheers, Paul.

When i replaced the floor on the rally car i slipped and fell through and landed on the nice rusty floor pan, 9 stitches in my hand later!!!!
At least i can honestly say the car took blood, sweat and tears

i had some metal in my eye once, i went to hospital the next day and removed it no problem, what was a real nause was that i had to apply cream for five days to soften the rust that had formed, and go back and have that removed too!
