To all members
I have been asked by Phil Teear to take on the position of technical officer for the modified vehicles. for those of you who have seen my car (British Airways rally Rep) it has had most major modifications carried out by myself, so i should be able to help!!
If you want to contact me by e-mail my address is now on the site. If you want to chat please PM me and i will give you my Tel number.
Thanks
martyn

Can't remember what diff/box you have in yours Kel.
English... no baby atlas yet
With the extra power you now have a single piece proshaft would seem to be in order. Maybe Martyn could recommend a suitable supplier....
We'll be getting some articles fro the quarterly mag then Martin :geek:

Greg,
I am currently working on an article about fitting the GP4 alloy arches on the MK11, this should be with Phil for next week.
I know nearly everything has been written about modifications to the MK11 but there are still new members etc requesting info so i will try to cover some of the basics as well as the seriously exspensive goodies.
Cheers
Martyn

Dingy,
The set up i would start with is as follows:
Castor - 3 degree
Camber - 1degree 30'Neg ( try going up at .25 intervals)
Toe in - 1/16 to 0 in (some people run parallel but i wouldnt advise this on the road)
Hope that helps
Martyn
Banisheeet this bbs is full of concours bufty's
Anything modified gets looked down on.
Cheers martin.
Don't aggree with the toe-in part tho....
rest seems ok.
Mine is set to 2degree's castor/cambre (2.5 on one side for dono)
And mine toe's out.
Feels ace
