Hello there, I know there is Solent race and Rally near me, but what are they like? Anybody know of any they can recommend to set up my carbs near to Emsworth/Portsmouth???

lee....there is a bloke who lives up the A32 (wickham to alton road) not that far from you, and he has a rolling road at his house! really good bloke aparently, been doing tuning since the year dot! i will try to get you his number, i want to use him myself when the car is back on the road, i know a few people who have used him, and they say he is great! may get a better service from someone like this....? who knows

a guy i know used tom airey tuning (spelling) dont know if he has a rollin road but apparently knows his stuff, dont know where he is either, if you cant find any contact details let me know and i will find out for you.

on the subjest, anyone know a r/r near birmingham (and please dont mention aldon, who are quoting me a shade over £200, not to mention parts and labour (labour, for fitting some jets :cherry: ), somewhere a little downmarket maybe?

Just spoke to Tom Airey and he said the cahrge will be £200......plus any jets etc.... Is that about right, as I would rather pay a flat charge and get it done than an hourly rate to some useless spanner monkey!!!
