Anybody know what bulb goes in the clock, as i ve never had one in mine, thought it was about"time" (sorry bad joke)

think you can still get them from fords but they come in 10's AFAIK

Do you mean "clock" as in 9:35am or "clock" as in 6300rpm / 95mph?

I'm pretty damned sure the timekeeping clock has a bayonet fit sidelight type bulb. The cable loom must have the bulb socket attached to it.

The main instrument cluster 'clocks' have the 501's.

Thanks for replys so far, yes i do mean mean clock as in time, it is a bayonet type fit that slides into the back of the clock, i ve tried the sidelight bulb, and its a fraction too big.

That's amusing Brian! On my last trip to UK at Xmas I spent 4 days travelling the country trying to get the bulb for the boot compartment light with the right wattage. An absolute nightmare. I finally picked it up in an old musty shop specialising in motorbike electrics!

(on your list I think it's the Type 6 in 12V 1,5W. See what I mean?)
