What was it exactly that you've just got? The Air Filter? the carbs? the dipstick? the Volkswagen nuts?

lucky sod !!!!

been hunting for a real dipstick like that for ages, gave up made one from a Tranist item.

just to check I got it right, can you measure from the bung (stop) to the tip.

Kel the dipstick from the Metel bung 1/2 way down the coil part to the tip is exactly 41cm

Cheers for that Kel but I dont think that tubes going to do this stick as the top bun is so much smaller

did you get that the measurement of the pipe I gave you is for the rubber extension pipe, this slip on to the standard metal pipe.

Kel is that the 284mm you put up is the tube length then ? whats the rubber bit then ?

This is how mine is Kel

Brian the rubber bit is 284mm on mine too, and that goes over the dipstick
pipe by 30mm

Sorry Brian i meant 30mm where the rubber extention goes over the standard dipstick tube
