Hi everybody. I'm new here and just thought I would introduce myself.
My name is Phil. Robbins and I live in Cheltenham Glos. I have a Mk2 RS2000 which I bought brand new 1-8-1978. I used to use it in road rallies in the early eighties but unfortunatley two crashes in three weeks put paid to the rallying. I had it rebuilt and now it just comes out in the summer. I am just about to start building another engine for it as the original is starting to get a little tired. 2.1 seems the way to go.
I will put a couple of pictures up when I figure out how to do it.

Thanks for the warm welcome from you all. To answere Rallyslag's question, Yes I was a frequent visitor to rallys in Oxfordshire. Got a bit too close to the scenery cause that's where I had the first of the two crashes. Staight on at 'T' if my memory serves me right. Got it towed home and straight into the bodyshop to repair the damage. Got it back and wrote it off 45 minutes later against an Austin Maxi head on. Such is life.

WOW!! those crashes have really taken their toll on the front of your car.......theres nothing left of it.....

These are the photos I did for the insurance company I use. Didn't want to show them too much. I like to keep people guessing. They are also the only ones on my computer at the moment. I promise I will do some more of the whole car soon.

I don't post much stuff here - just look usually - but my car is signal yellow and first registered 1/8/78, we must be related :thumbright:

Nice motor, one day mine will be finished and back on the road..........
