freshen up for the summer

decided to get the mk2 resprayed for the summer,got it back from bodyshop lastweek+they did a great job,they sorted the body out properly+painted it in+out+they rubber style coated the underneath as well for me,just need to get a few wee fiddly bits together+then build her back up,couple of pics below of before+after

seat coming back out to paint that runner,had 2 use a old runner when installing them+forgot 2 paint it,the others are all done,to much rush+no enough hurry
the blue things are universal shock gaiters i got on the bay,think theyre for a ducati!

finally got some time to get some work done on the rs this week,all work underneath now done apart from a new caliper that i fitted 6 month ago has seized now:mad:so will need a stripdown+clean up:mad:all under bonnet pipes etc now all sorted except for speedo cables+screen washer pipes to run +fit,hope to get her finished at end on jan when i get home again

Are you rear shocks upside down. I thought Billys had the outer sleeve to the top.

the shocks can only bolt on one way,its aftermarket shock covers thats on it

its been coated with a rubberized coating similar to whats put on the bottom of audis/bmws in the factory,it comes in small sausage style tubes
its 175/50/13 tyres thats fitted,lowered 2"on front+decambered springs on rear,front wheels rub inner arch area on full lock,rears seems fine so far

have you found your speedo readings have gone a bit haywire since fitting the 175/50s? as mine are way out with those tyres on :confused:
