well started the car today nice to hear it running, not for long though as the oil seal on the oil filter blew out, took filter off put seal back in started the car blew out again:mad: phoned the lad who did engine said engine has to come back out :eek: and stripped down i am sick as ***k ..garage full of oil nice little clean up.. so put the car on the trailer and taking it down the road to get sorted.....

same happened to me johny, PRV stuck...easy to do on a BD/Xflow as pump is external...well annoying tho..oil everywhere:mad:

the guy said it was a faulty oil pump i think

bad luck son its not the curse of the lakes again is it :( black cars who would have one ;)

curse of the lakes/black car struck me the day as well....
out for a pre lakes tour shakedown and the black menace ate its diff for lunch :eek::eek:

sounds like the oil pressure release valve to me jonny:(

my diff went last year the day before the lakes:eek: still got there:D

got my spare diff stripped down yesterday,cleaned up the day...
fitting spanking new quaife atb and bearings during the week so fingers crossed it might be sorted by next week.... car has never played up before until i mentioned " THE LAKES TOUR".... now it has well and truely spat the dummy :banghead:

to late mate was in the garage doing the car un less i toss a bid in for the one on ebay :D
