Hello All.

Can someone please send in some correct pics of a Signal Yellow, Signal Amber and Signal Orange Mk2 Escorts. I had a mexico many years ago and the log book say's signal yellow but from what I have seen DVLA may have got confused or it got re-sprayed during its long life. It was certainly not yellow or Orange as we know it, I am beginning to think it was signal amber?

Any advice

I think its seems like signal Orange from your very good pics thanks. I vaguely remenber touching up with signal orange but the log book said yellow and all the piant inside the doors and floor matched?

I have only rose tinted glasses for that car (My first) it had an RS2000 engine in it then it was stolen after I had it 3 months.

I have never seen another in the flesh in that colour. Although I was not aware there were 2 Signal Orange colours, Which is what it appears to be?. A rare care anyway, and in that colour? maybe only a few hundred ofthe approx 2000 sold?

Yeah it was thanks. I was selling it as had the mex, I was spraying the bumpers.

It was a 1986 RG125 I had it tuned by Terry Becket. It had 23bhp. ??

Some early MK2 Mexico's were Daytona yellow as well. ;)
