I have been in discussion with a German firm who can supply 195/55/13 Uniroyal tyres for £43 inc delivery but this is pre Discount price they are going to ge back to me on this!
this works out to be £172 a set of 4 which is nearly £60 cheaper than the UK for 4
But as I said this is PRE-DISCOUNT prices depending on how mant are bought!!

Do tyre dealers in UK also charge inflated prices if you arrive with your own tyres?
Some in Germany even refuse to fit 'foreigners'.

But I went to the tyre dealers the other day and the young fella said to the boss sam was on the phone and says those tyres were £35 each
then He walked awaywith the phone came back to me and the tyres had now become £225 for 4 and they starts at £140 umm ****es me off

Good luck, anyway!
When I started out the resto, the 205/60 HR 13's were the latest in low profile tyre technology - by the time I'll need tyres for the road, they'll be museum pieces!

on the subject, what is the best tyre size (for daily road use, but still does a good job) theyll be put onto a set of rostyles btw.
i was thinking 185/60/13's, or 185/55/13s?

There is a reason for the wide arches and 8" rims after all - CHEAP TYRES

The Kumho, 7 series are a top performing tire.
Good choice !
A few guys are using these on their race cars, instead of A032r's
