Strip down started

Well i've decided to put the 1700t back to what it should have been. The car should have been White so the work has began to strip it down for a major paint job.

I think it was a mate of the guy who built your car who sold it to him, it had a 2.0 pinto in it

Hi Gordon, Long time no hear as they say, This one started off life as a v6 then after about 50mls the owner wasn't happy with it and put a 2.1 Burton in it and again he wasn't happy then he put a Cosworth in it and it's stayed that way. It also was originally a White car but he changed it to Red, I askechim why and his answer was that White is a c**t to keep clean.

Well thats the engine out so just the gearbox,prop,fuel tank,fuel pump and get the wiring all out of the way then away for painting.Luckily enough I caught the wiring that runs beside the wiper motor before something went up in smoke,It was rubbing against the wiper mechanism under the scuttle panel and has worn through the cable,very lucky me thinks!!!!:eek:
