Cheers for reply,s Was hoping to be on track at croft this year but I cant see it been ready! to much work not enought time or cash :colors: Still not sure what engine to use ????{definatly not cossie this time} was going to use the standard rs2 motor but now have a 2L zetec aswell so might use that.It will be at croft 2006 :clown: http://www.redslate.co.uk/upload/pics/engine2.jpg

Got some paint on the outside and its moved for the 1st time in 18 months :cheers: But the front was on a trolly jack? Could only find some 1300 front hubs :clown:

OK OK When I said I would never do a another Rothmans Replica :colors: I meant after this last one :geek: And its not really a replica cos I did the strips different at the front to make the arches look wider :albino: So no Prizes for the :agimp:

I sold it Twice !!!!!!!! The last time to a local guy who concoursed a mint green standard RS2 around 1990.ish. His girl friend used it as a runabout :cyclops: I think he still has it?

Thanks for all the kind words lads, I does look better in the pics to be honest :p It has beeen built as a track car and is a wee bit rough round the edges (specifically so I didnt end up pre 81 mod Paul LOL) Taffr your dead right about the wheels.If anyone has or knows of a set of 8x13 minilite/style wheels dont need tyres (any condition They will get painted anyway but must be straight) I will swop/deal for the 8X13 revs,100% straight(paint a bit rough,Runs lol )inc 4 brand new bf goodrich tyres and 16 brand new new nuts,

Well its alive and kicking,Drove it off the drive and turned it round :o Brakes locked on!!!! Engine runs like a dog and it shakes and vibrates like a $hitting dog?? apart from that it sound as a pound. still it was nice to drive it even only 20 feet:p Just got to finish off small bits and trim!!Than sort out some insurance for the road

Cheers for comments lads ,The back box was bought s/h off a memeber on here(top bloke Nelly) Its exactly the same as a rs2 scorpion system but has no name stamped on it, I have had to cut it about a lot to clear the axle and linkage and make up a rear mount but its quite a nice fit now and it pi$$ed the noise test at croft :cool:
