  • nosecone on or off?

I have just fitted a new pair of home made wings on my RS2000 (what a great fit),but when the car is resprayed should the nosecone be fitted or should it be sprayed seperately to avoid paint filling the joints??

I was told to do it off so you dont get a join crack let the paint go round the front of the wing where they join first ?

It has to be taken off if you want the job done right, but getting it to fit perfectly back on again is a pure bas***d.

I am doing the same type of repair (amongst others - lol)

"Dry" fit the nose before painting, then remove nose, paint it and refit after.

DONT FORGET TO KEEP CHECKING BONNET FIT !!!!!!!!

thanks guys,I thought it was best to paint off the car.I was a bit worried about the paintwork getting scratched when it is being refitted.as you say its a pain to refit.
