Multi point cage fitting to RSX

Afternoon all,

Having done some Christmas cleaning, I've developed some pics of the cage fiiting to my car - thought it might be of interest to peope who are thinking of doing it....

The cage is a 14pt multi point cage from Saftey Devices. We had it fitted when PrepFab were turretting the car, so you can see that as well....

Here's the rest of them!

From top to bottom, we have the cut out of the arches, the new turrets, the box sections in the footwell / behind seats, the rear double diagonal bracing, then the main cage and finally the double door bars.

Perhaps a little over the top, but the only safety feature on a mk2 is the horn!

Fortunately had them chop out all the other rot, so should survive!

Pics are from a disposable camera that's about a yr old...car is totally finished & was on the Lakes Tour last year...

Couple more pics - one on the tour and one from track day...cage is now yellow!
