is Johns 2.3 harrier in there ?
What's it go like then ? In the article it says he's taking it up the Pod to test it out , has he done it yet ? Nice motor by the way , wouldn't mind an Rs1800 rep myself especially without a slow standard BDA holding it back !!!!!! :D

Gaz
The car is not mapped for wide open throttle yet, but it did show what it could achieve on the last road mapping session I did. The car is currently in bits sorting out the problems that are stopping me booking a rolling road session to map the wide open throttle fuel and spark, which are an oil leak from a porous weld on the sump and a slipping clutch. For the full build up and the problems I have had getting the car to a show this year (the gearbox failed on the way to the Classic Ford Show at Santa Pod). Here is the link to the build up thread in the Restorations and On Going Projects on this BB. http://bbs.rallyesportescorts.co.uk/showthread.php?t=8620. I will have to update my thread with the lastest progress, but my digital camera has stopped working  I have just noticed that all the photo' s for the first 10 pages of my thread are not available
I have not seen the Retro Ford article yet. It does not get to the shops until the 1st Jan, but I did read a draught version sent to me about a month ago and I was pleased with what Simon had written.

You can swop back to a twin choke at anytime afterwards (not that you will of course) . :)

nice write up GAZ, nice looking car too, however, i do think the 'COMFY' message was over emphasised just a little too much, i must have read the word 10 times or more in just 3 pages. people get the message ok :D
john, the 18 rep it dead lush ;)
haven't had a chance to read it yet as just got back from ireland:) but had a quick flick through, love both gaz's and john's cars :cool::cool::cool:

lol , the oldskoolford + turbosport forum lot used to get the hump when i mentioned that mine was "comfy" instead of dragged everywhere on a trailer with half the car missing so i made sure they got the message !!!!!! :D
