Sceptical as ever .....

What is that actual process? It's not chroming! They talk of ceramic plating and don't give any guarantees for this "plating" not flaking off except on brand new items, and then only for a year!

I see performance wheels [are using a similar substance to coat some of their wheels.] Makes them easy to clean I guess.

I Had a word with Peter who deals with all this and His words were

" It should last for several years before looking tired, thers a 1 year warranty on new parts refinished
Stuff that needs cleaning up first eg used 4 branch, no automatic warranty but they dont like unhappy customers, so if anything happens in a reasonable time scale they will redo it

The coating is NOT suitable for home/DIY finishing, as the after the costing has been applied its hard to polish up, and they have a large vibrating polishing machine which does it quite quickly

They have a 2 week turn-around on parts, they shot blast and acid dip any rusty stuff before coating.

It sometimes not great for Cast manifolds as theres contamination in cast iron ( it can work fine but you have to be aware of this)!!!!

Cost of a 4-2-1 is std rate of £188 inv vat thats for it to be triple coated, ceramic inside and the heatshield coat outside then ceramkromed this is safe for temps upto 900 C
