thats it now still no site of my mexico i bet it a new car now o well
the insurance will pay out soon then iam on the lookout for another one
just a shame that one has gone :bigcry:

na only had for 10 days....
Do you know what you're going to get for it yet Paul? I've just got my agreed value certificate back for mine, I asked for £5K and it got it, and mines a very very clean rep.
Mind you, I sent about 50 photos of it, so he probably couldn't refuse!

That may be a problem.
The insured value is one thing, but they may well argue, in the absence of an agreed value that the retail price for your car was much lower.
I hope it works out ok.

well i have give them some ads of mexico that have sold of ebay and out of some mags and they were all around the 6k mark..
good idea mate, argue with them until you're happy with the figure that they will give you.
don't think you'll see it again mate which is a shame, looked a good car from the pics. Hopefully the thieving scum will meet a tragic end!!

i.d. of a mk2.
its the people who sell logbooks and tags you should be getting at,
including a few off this site.

It just shows that we all have to be more vigilant where our cars are concerned, mine is difficult to gat at as there is usually a car parked in front of the garage it's stored in plus i remove ht lead, put crooklock on etc all things that make it hard for w@nkers etc to relieve me of my pride and joy. And if i caught anybody havin a go well i don't think they'd be back!!!

I'll 2nd that Richard - I'm afraid I've no sympathy for those selling logbooks who have had cars stolen.

I think the point the guys are tyring to make is that when people are selling log books etc it makes it easier for scum to ring motors. They're not saying u deserve it as nobody deserves to have their mota pinched but by selling these items you are kind of making it easier for people to get away with it. Personally i hope you get your car back mate.

Are you for real ? Am I not allowed to have an opinion ? I haven't insulted you in any way Paul - I don't think much of your activities (or your opinions on the subject) but other than that there is no more to it.
