2 x valve guide seals have springs missing, 1 x chewed up

sem 2 have more questions than answers now?

5 of the valve post's were not locked down,
a couple of valve guide seals were F**ked
3 of the rocker post springs were un-cliped
found a chunk of grit? wedged in the oil way for the rear cam bearing

any ideas on the camshaft id?
what's the bolt in the back of the head
why would the valve snap (not thrashed too much still running in)

why's my lockup got no heating!!!
